Went to Miami University on a football scholarship, graduated with a degree in art education. Came back to Berea after graduating and was fortunate enough to land a teaching job in the Berea District, and have been with Berea High School ever since. Spent three years as an assistant principal, and have been the art department curriculum leader for the past seven. Developed the only high school art program of its kind in the country, BHSFX exposes students to the skills, materials and techniques associated with the movie and entertainment industries (check it out: www.bhsfx.com)
Have spent time coaching and running the weight training programs at the high school, while trying to keep in shape myself.
I'm currently in charge of the ROEHM RAPTORS FOOTBALL PROGRAM (Yes, RAPTORS - not BUCKS)
There is nothing better than spending time with my family and watching the kids get involved in a variety of activities.
School Story:
Spent a lot of time drawing, not studying. Didn't party much at all, but had great times hanging out with Dave, Brad, Mike and golfing with Terry. Best High School moment: When Laurie Miller, covered in mud, asked me for a ride home after PowderPuff Football practice (who new it would one day lead to us having four kids) OOHH! and Nancy showing up to practices with HUGE curlers and a head cap.
